Training goals: Matchmaking with the auto industry and positioning at automotive supply chain logistics technology, the major provides students with well-rounded education both in moral integrity and ability and aims to cultivate students into talent with international vision and ability of cross-cultural communication. After learning knowledge and technology in terms of goods collection and distribution process management of auto industrial logistics, warehousing management, application of logistics information system, logistics planning and design, maintenance and management of intelligent logistics equipment, students will be competent to fit in such positions as supply chain logistics clerks, team leaders of logistics groups and logistics directors, and will be capable of applying their knowledge and skills of auto industrial logistics to trade logistics and other fields of the logistics industry to further become an international and versatile technician of “quality, management and innovation” with ideals and faith, craftsman spirits and superb skills.

School-enterprise cooperation: In September 2014, modern apprenticeship was introduced from the UK for reform of specialized talent cultivation mode, and the new school-enterprise “dual education mode” with an integration of industry and education contributed to promoting the disciplinary construction of the logistics management program at a high level. In 2015, our cooperation with the REAL Apprenticeship Company Limited and Dunhao Logistics (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was reached to start the pilot modern apprenticeship education. In 2018, we promoted our partnerships with the Liuzhou Branch of Dunhao Logistics (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Liuzhou Ruize Trade Logistics Co., Ltd. to carry out an experimental class of modern apprenticeship for the logistics management program. Now, with the UK’s accreditation, we have trained 40 apprentices, 13 examiners and 3 internal auditors and succeeded in cultivating international logistics talent with high skills and high quality for regional economic development through the integrated mode of industry-education and school-enterprise “dual education”. In addition to apprenticeship education, we have also established cooperative relationships with Guangxi Beibu Gulf Guizhong Haixun Logistics Co., Ltd., SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd. (SGMW) and Guangxi Zhongxin International Logistics Co., Ltd. in talent cultivation for market matchmaking, resource integration and hands-on teaching to deepen the integration of industry and education.

(1) Initial employment posts: Logistics clerk, warehouse staff, information personnel, materials and account administrator, procurement specialist;

(2) Further development posts: Logistics team leader, warehouse team leader, logistics director;

(3) Extended posts: Logistics outlets manager, logistics manager, logistics planning engineer, etc.
