Introduction to School of International Education of Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College (LVTC)
School of International Education of LVTC is a management department for the work of global international students and an entity running the education of international students. The main duties of the School include: formulating and supervising implementing policies related to the work of international students; enrolling international students and handling work of the exit and entry; educating and managing of language students and coordinating academic affairs of international students; constructing Chinese courses for international students and the teaching of various Chinese courses for them.
The School of International Education boasts a high-level faculty with optimized professional titles, academic qualifications and an optimized-aged structure. At present, there are 3 department leaders and international student tutors, and 12 full-time and part-time Chinese teachers, including 1 professor and 5 associate professors. The School has a Chinese language education program with a focus on Chinese language instruction, as well as numerous Chinese cultural courses such as calligraphy, tie-dye, and tai chi chuan.
The College has always been guided by the national policy of studying in China, and is one of the institutions qualified to enroll students with government scholarships from ASEAN countries in Guangxi, and also has "President's Scholarship" for international students of LVTC, which includes scholarship for freshmen, scholarship for outstanding students, and scholarship for students of International Craftsman College.
The School of International Education actively responds to the national "the Belt and Road" initiative, strengthens the integration of skills practice and language and culture, focuses on cultivating high-quality international skilled personnel with good humanities, broad international vision and solid cross-cultural ability, and comprehensively enhances the international visibility and influence of the School.
