Credit:

This major requires 150 credits in total, including 135 credits of compulsory courses and 15 credits of elective courses (the credits of public elective courses must not be less than 6 credits, and that of specialized elective courses must not be less than 5 credits). If the credits of elective courses exceed 15 credits, the excess part of courses will be charged according to the standard.

Training goals:

In connection with the IoT industry, and positioned in the IoT integration, sales and development fields, the students are cultivated to have both ability and political integrity, develop in an all-around way, possess good professional ethics and humanistic qualities, master related professional theoretical knowledge, as well as integration, construction and development knowledge of the IoT industry, and be competent in the IoT integration, sales and development, so as to become international compound technical talent of "quality, management and innovation" with ideals and faith, craftsman spirits and superb skills.

School-enterprise cooperation:

Relying on the internet industrial chain, the industry-education integration is implemented, and the school-enterprise cooperation is carried out to explore and innovate the construction and operation mode of training bases, and to build a high-level professional training base group of industry-education integration with a leading role of influence, so as to serve the industrial clusters, and meet the higher needs of schools and enterprises in the region for teaching, training and technical services; the implementation of "Refined Training" is deepened, the training environment is upgraded, and the R&D functions of the base is enhanced, focusing on cultivating students' management ability and professional quality in the bases. The construction projects include 12 off-campus internship bases in cooperation with ZTE Corporation, Guangdong TipDM Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Liuzhou Hangsheng Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., Guangxi Xingyuan Tiandi Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., etc.
