Enlisted in Sino-German Automotive Vocational Education Project (SGAVE) by the Ministry of Education (25 in total nationwide)
Sino-German Automotive Vocational Education Project(SGAVE in short) is urged by the Ministry of Education of China and GIZ from Germany to introduce specialty standard from Germany and then implement with the help of four German auto companies including Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen and Audi. There are altogether 25 colleges which have passed the executive review of the Ministry of Education of China and LVTC is the only college joining the program in Guangxi.
By choosing 30 students and setting up an experimental class every year, LVTC has been implementing the German specialty standard in the major of vehicles maintenance since 2013. In 2017, the major metal plate joined in the program. Both lecturers and students benefit a lot. Every year the graduates from the experimental class receive a heated welcome from the auto companies.
After seven years’ implementation, LVTC succeeded in introducing the specialty standard and becoming one of the six exemplary colleges of SGAVE in the country.
