The British Modern Apprenticeship Project of Logistics Management Major in Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College is one of the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot projects in China. It introduces the authentic apprenticeship cultivation process in line with the standards approved by OFSTED. The Project, in its implementation, relies on: the full support from local government (the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot unit), the abundant resources from the school (a school under the Plan for the Construction of High-quality Higher Vocational Schools and Specialties with Chinese Characteristics), the excited industry environment (automobile logistics), the excellent cooperative enterprises (world leading enterprises in the logistics field), and the powerful strength of the UK partner Real Apprenticeship Company, leading to a win-win cooperation. The apprentices, appraisers and internal auditors have been OFQUAL-certified (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), and obtained the relevant certificates issued by EDEXCEL (a UK’s national institute of vocational education and academic examinations).
