News Web (Text by Yang Nan from Electric and Mechanical Engineering School, Photo by Publicity Department of Party Committee)On November 28, 2017, the unveiling ceremony of the Youth Innovation Practice Base, jointly established by Guangxi Automobile Group and Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College, was held in the classroom T1-C202 at the Campus of Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College in Guantang. Wang Xu, the Deputy Party Secretary of Guangxi Automobile Group and his entourage, Lin Ruosen, the Vice President of Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College, accompanied by the heads of related departments such as Technology Development Department (College-Enterprise Cooperation Department, Employment Office), Electric and Mechanical Engineering School and other relevant teachers attended the ceremony. 

The Youth Innovation Practice Base is co-founded by Guangxi Automobile Group and our College guided by the principle of business orientation, policy integration, opening-sharing and innovation mode. Relying on talents, equipment and other resources of both sides, and taking our College as a basis, equipment, site and intellectual support will be provided for young people who wish to involve in innovation projects on the development of automobile industry, by making full use of the existing industrial robotics engineering center, precision on-line detection technology applications and many other innovative laboratories. By strengthening the guidance and training of innovative talents both in college and enterprise, we are striving to complement each other with the development of human resources in the automobile industry and form a good pattern of boosting innovation practices, innovation incubation and joint cultivation and output of innovative talents, thus forming a replicable college-enterprise co-innovation, vocational education cooperation model and sharing mechanism to promote the upgrading of automobile industry in Liuzhou.

Before the ceremony, Wang Xu and his entourage visited the Robot Training Center and our College’s Machinery Factory. The guests spoke highly of the advanced concept of running a college and the achievements made in our College, and hope that in the future we will be able to conduct more exchanges, integrate resources in a deeper way, make more in-depth cooperation between us, and achieve "win-win". 

Afterwards, the two sides conducted an exchange and communication on the operation mechanism of the Youth Innovation Practice Base in the classroom T1-C202. Finally, leaders of both sides unveiled and announced the establishment of the practice base.
