News from News Network (written by Shao Dan from College of Finance and Economics Logistics Management; photographed by Chen Yujing from College of Finance and Economics Logistics Management) On March 23, Accounting Skills Contest of Guangxi Vocational Students Skills Contest for Higher Vocational Group was held in Guangxi Financial Vocational College. 148 students from 37 higher vocational colleges in the whole autonomous region participated in the contest which was sponsored by Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Students majoring in accounting from the LVTC College of Finance and Economics Logistics Management won the first prize of team after 6 hours of bitter competition.

The accounting contest for higher vocational group lasted one day, including accounting information processing in the morning and manual accounting processing in the afternoon. Shi Qin and Shao Dan acted as instructor of our school team which consisted of four students: Wang Siyang and Ling Jianglong of Grade 2016 Accounting Class 1, Luo Yi of Accounting Class 2 and Zhou Feng of Financial Management Class 2.

The excellent achievement in the skills contest is derived from the hearted guidance of teachers and hard training of students. It has tested the teaching reform achievements of higher vocational accounting specialty and shown the good professional quality and spirituality of contestants.
