News from News Center (Text by Liao Boguang from College-Enterprise Cooperation Department, Photos by Zhu Jingmin from Publicity Department of Party Committee and Liao Boguang from College-Enterprise Cooperation Department) In November 2011, the College-Enterprise Cooperation Office, under the Centre for Continuing Education, was established according to the organizational restructuring of the College; in June 2016, the College carried out organizational reform based on the development needs, establishing Science and Technology Development Department, College-Enterprise Cooperation Department and Employment Department. The merger of the three departments is intended to integrate the resources for scientific and technological development, college-enterprise cooperation and employment, strengthen the work cooperation in these three aspects, enhance the College’s scientific research strength and management level, increase the quantity and quality of awards to be won for scientific research achievements at all levels and in all kinds, boost the scientific research and social service incomes and improve customer satisfaction as well as boost the overall social service income of the College and improve the customer satisfaction in college-enterprise cooperation of the College.
In accordance with the laws of combination of learning with working, college-enterprise cooperation and integration of industry and teaching for vocational education, the College focuses on the "cooperation in college running, education, employment and development", continuously deepens the education and teaching reform and innovates the college-enterprise cooperation system and mechanism. Meanwhile, the College centers its work around its development strategy of “taking the lead in the world, upgrading the connotation and simultaneously promoting six practices to build a well-known higher vocational college with distinctive characteristics”, actively implements its mission “To Make the Students Be the First Choice of Enterprises", introduces the internationally advanced vocational education standards, establishes the training center and vocational qualification program connected with and mutually recognized by the international standards, integrates the international talent training standards and industrial and corporate standards into the whole process of its talent cultivation to provide powerful talent and intellectual support for enterprises. The college-enterprise cooperation has a long history and has gradually expanded to cooperate with enterprises in employee training, technology research and development, scientific research cooperation, etc. after going through such stages as internship and employment and order-based training, presenting a diversified cooperation mode. The program of "Practical Exploration of NC Technology Productive Training Base for Higher Vocational Education" won the second prize of the 2009 Higher Education Teaching Achievements Award, and the program of "College-Enterprise Cooperative Higher Vocational Education Reform Practice Based on Enterprise Demands" won the second prize of 2014 National Teaching Achievement Award for Vocational Education.
Diversified College-Enterprise Cooperation Modes
"Factory in College" mode "Factory in college" mode is to bring the enterprises into the training base of the College by using of the college space and human resources, to establish a "production workshop" and form a "factory in college." After an enterprise is brought into the College, a part of the production line of the enterprise is built on the campus, to implement the college-enterprise cooperation mode combining "theory study" and "post practice" in the College. This model solves not only the problem of insufficient enterprise space, but also the problem of insufficient internship and training equipment in the College, truly realizing the sharing of resources between the enterprise and the College and creating a win-win situation.
Relying on the bridge box and hydraulic and other branches of Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College Machinery Factory and LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd., the College conducts the external cooperation processing, technology research and development and other services with the holding subsidiary of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. - Guangxi Jinchuang Automobile Parts Co., Ltd. and other medium, small and micro-sized enterprises in Liuzhou. Liuzhou Ourui Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. and the Institute of Automation and Electronic Technology of the collage jointly established the "College-enterprise Coalition Studio", Shenzhen Electric Yingpu Technology Co., Ltd. established the electronic product united studio "Lin Cong Studio" in our college, the "Qiuliubin Studio" named after outstanding graduates and winners of National May 1st Labor Award and National Technical Experts was established, and the College introduced small and medium-sized enterprises - Liuzhou Jiatai Mould Factory, Liuzhou Henghong Machinery Factory and Mingshi Automobile Repair Factory, all of which are the typical "factory in college" modes.
The College teamed up with the Liudong New District Management Committee in October 2016, to jointly build the Collaborative Innovation Institute of Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College. Based on the concept of collaborative innovation, opening and sharing, mutual benefit and win-win, the College insists on the combination of introduction and incubation, and carries out in-depth industry-college-institute cooperation with local enterprises and collaboration with innovative resources at home and abroad, catering to industry and regional economic development and focusing on integrated innovation. The College carries out construction mainly around the technology integration, engineering and technical training, units the entities (enterprises) and serves local industries relying on the technical platform of the college engineering center. In 2017 alone, the College provided 49 technical service projects for and intermediate and advanced robot training courses for 103 persons of SGMW, Dongfeng Liuqi, Guangxi Liugang, Guangxi Automobile Group, Fangsheng Group, etc., with a service amount of more than RMB 15 million. In 2016, the institute was recognized as "The Fifth Batch of Autonomous Region-level Technology Transfer Demonstration Institutions in Guangxi" and Liuzhou "Demonstration Unit of Base Cities for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Micro and Small-sized Enterprises". In 2017, it was recognized as the first batch of "Public Service Platform for Micro and Small-sized Enterprises in Liuzhou". In 2018, it was recognized as the Business Incubation Base in Liuzhou (College Student Pioneer Park).
"College in factory" mode". College in the factory" mode refers that the equipment is implanted into the enterprises, the training bases are built by the colleges and enterprises and resources are shared by using of local government investment, industry enterprise investment and self-raised funds and equipment resources of the college, to form a "college in factory" serving as a stable base for high-level productive training of the students. The cooperation mode between the college and the high-tech enterprises Liuzhou Fu Zhen car body Industrial Co., Ltd. and Liuzhou Hangsheng Technology Co., Ltd. is a typical "college in the factory" mode. The College established the "LVTC-Fu Zhen Automobile Panel Mould NC Machining Workshop" in Liuzhou Fu Zhen car body Industrial Co., Ltd., forming a "college in the factory", and 5 batches of students (120 people per batch) are arranged in the cooperation base for two-month production post practice every year. What' more, the College set up a special classroom for programming and automobile panel mold design in Fu Zhen company, and the technical staff of the enterprise and the teachers of the collage jointly formed an practice and teaching guidance group, to take charge of the post arrangement and teaching implementation of on-site students and jointly undertake the curriculum or special teaching tasks.
"Enterprise trusteeship" mode. The enterprises entrust the colleges to manage one or several organizations in the enterprises, which may be one or several departments, one or several workshops, one or several production lines, one or several working sections, one or several groups or other independent management units. The cooperation between the College and Liuzhou Shangtai Machinery Co., Ltd. belongs to the type of mode. The College undertakes the production organization and management of the minicar rear axle production line for Liuzhou Shangtai Machinery Co., Ltd., forming a new mechanism of "enterprise workshop and college management" cooperation – enterprise trusteeship.
"Implanted workstation "mode. Taking advantage of the technical resources of the college, the colleges set up "Technical Service Workstations" in the enterprises, dispatch professional teachers stationed in the enterprises, and undertake a large quantity of technical transformation and equipment maintenance technical services. This technical service mode of "implanted workstation" within the enterprise provides students with the opportunity to study the daily maintenance, repair and technical transformation of equipment and management of the on-site work. The cooperation between the school and LiuGong Mechanism Company belongs to the "Implanted Workstation" model. The school has set up a "Technical Service Workstation" within the Guangxi Liuzhou (Steel) Group Mechanism Company. By providing services such as maintenance and repair of CNC equipment to the enterprise, it provides professional students with productive training positions such as equipment maintenance and repair, which also solves the problem of the enterprise that equipment is hard to be repaired. All in all, it has handled 226 technical failures for the enterprise, and obtained a large number of teaching cases from the front line of production.
"Enterprise Order Class" mode. On entering the school, students shall have jobs; on graduating from the school, they shall be employed, achieving three synchronizations, namely enrollment and recruitment, teaching and production, internship and employment. Students are composed of students selected by schools and employees recruited by enterprises, the implementation of education is accomplished jointly by the enterprise and the school, the training and examination content comes from the needs of enterprises, while the school is responsible for setting up professional skills and practical courses needed by enterprises, the enterprise plays a more important role in specific vocational training. Based on the needs of enterprises, students shall be undergone short-term skills training, after completing the training, they shall be assessed by the company, the ones who pass the assessment shall be employed by the company according to the contract. The cooperation is highly targeted, highlighting the flexibility and openness of vocational skills training, and the students are trained with strong adaptability, high employment rate and good employment stability. Over the past 20 years, more than 500 order classes, such as "LiuGong Overseas Student Class", "SAIC GM Wuling Automobile Order Class", "LiuGong Class", "LiuGong Class", "CHOICE Overseas Order Class" and "Hualiu Automobile Order Class", have been launched with enterprises, and more than 10,000 order students have been trained.

Innovate the school-running system and mechanism. The school has signed school-enterprise joint school-running agreements with many enterprises such as ZTE Corporation, Huayu Zhonghang (Beijing) Education Technology Co., Ltd., China Hengqi Education Group, Wuhan B&J Group, Wuhan Houpu Education Technology Group, Wuhan Shangyunke Network Technology Co., Ltd and has established five mixed-ownership secondary colleges, to combine school and enterprise to form teaching and management teams. The school provides teaching, office and internship training venues, and the cooperative enterprises are responsible for investing, purchasing and building internship training facilities such as simulated machine warehouses, Internet training centers, and ICT training bases. The school employs enterprise technicians to serve as part-time teachers, and the enterprise employs professional teachers of the school to serve as heads of relevant departments, to realize "mutual recognition of identity, interoperability of role" between the school and enterprises.
Innovate the talents training mode. The school sets relevant majors according to the requirements of the enterprise and is responsible for the application and placement of the enrollment plan.
