In the past 20 years, LVTC has always attached great importance to the employment of graduates. Under the correct leadership of LVTC party committee and administration, with the concerted efforts of all faculty members and graduates, its graduate employment has been at the forefront of Guangxi colleges and universities and achieved remarkable results.

LVTC has been selected as the “Outstanding Organization for Graduate Employment and Entrepreneurship of Guangxi Colleges and Universities” annually, since the Education Department of the Autonomous Region began the selection in 2001. By 2018, LVTC has won this honor for 18 consecutive years. This is a high praise from the superiors for the employment work of LVTC, and the recognition of the employers for the graduates of LVTC. Besides, this is the affirmation of the society for the talent cultivation of LVTC, and the gift given by the employment staff members to the 20th anniversary of LVTC higher vocational education.

Awarded the Honorable Title of “Outstanding Organization for Graduate Employment and Entrepreneurship of Guangxi Colleges and Universities” for 18 Consecutive Years 

From 2001 to 2018, 45,073 full-time college students graduated from LVTC, of which more than 40% of graduates find jobs in Liuzhou, more than 70% in Guangxi, and more than 65% in private enterprises, supporting the development of local economy and private enterprises.  

In the past 20 years of higher vocational education, the employment rate of graduates has been at the forefront of Guangxi colleges and universities. LVTC works hard to achieve full, stable and high-quality employment of graduates, no matter how the situation changes, even in the financial crisis of 2008 and the Sino-US trade conflicts.
 

In the past 20 years, all the employment staff members of LVTC travelled extensively. They came to the first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and the large and small industrial parks in the developed regions such as the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta. They also opened up the employment markets in such provinces and autonomous regions as Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Anhui, Shandong, Hebei, Ningxia, Guangxi. They visited the enterprises of large, medium, small and micro scales that include state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, joint venture, and sole proprietorships. These enterprises are involved in traditional industries such as automotive, electronics, machinery, metallurgy, energy, chemicals, food, and emerging industries such as IT, e-commerce, logistics, new energy, new materials. LVTC exploits the employment channels, builds the employment networks, find the employment opportunities for graduates, and form long-term and stable cooperative relations with many employers.

In the past 20 years, the main recommendation methods for successful employment of graduates have developed from "campus recruitment " to “large job fair”, “campus job fair”, “monthly job fair”, “regional job fair”, “seasonal job fair”, "career days", "online open day", and other campus recruitment activities. A series of campus recruitment activities in 2018 provides 7.5 jobs per capita, enriching the choices of graduates and providing quality employment.

As job fairs were held successfully and graduates found satisfactory jobs in the past 20 years, the graduates of LVTC have got highly recognized among the employers. LVTC has fully implemented its mission "To Make the Students Be the First Choice of Enterprises". In an interview with the camera crew of the “A Hundred of Higher Vocational Schools” of the Ministry of Education, "The graduates of LVTC get along with co-workers quite well and get things done, showing good occupational qualities and solid professional foundation. This is inseparable from the advanced training concepts and models of LVTC," said Huang Guixia, Manager of Human Resources Department of Guilin FOTO Co., Ltd., a long-term friendly cooperator of LVTC. More enterprises have also said that the graduates of LVTC are so hot that they cannot recruit many graduates of LVTC, and as long as they can recruit some LVTC graduates, they will focus on their training.
