Exchange Platform for Liuzhou Auto Scientific and Technological Innovation Established in LVTC
News from News Center (Text by Yang Jingsang from Science and Technology Development Department, Photos by Zhu Jingmin from Publicity Department of Party Committee and Huang Youmian from Student News Agency) On May 28, 2019, the first session of 2019 Liuzhou Automotive Frontier Technologies Seminar, which was sponsored by Liuzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and hosted by Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College (LVTC) and Liuzhou Anmei Science and Technology Co., Ltd., was held in Conference Room T3-D202 on Guantang Campus of LVTC.
The Seminar was presided over by He Zhizhong, director of Science and Technology Development Department, with over 50 participants, including Lu Bo, member of the Party Leading Group of Liuzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Lin Ruosen, vice president of LVTC, Lin Zhiyong, general manager of Liuzhou Anmei Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and relevant personnel of automobile enterprises in Liuzhou.
Lu Bo delivered a speech at the Seminar, pointing out that Liuzhou, as an automobile city of Guangxi, was facing great pressure of industrial transformation and upgrading. In order to give full play to the supporting and leading role of scientific and technological innovation in the city’s economic development, Liuzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau decided to hold Liuzhou Automotive Frontier Technologies Seminar. The Seminar is expected to introduce new advanced and mature technologies to tackle the pain points and difficult problems existing in the automobile industry as well as providing cutting-edge information and international exchange platforms for automobile and auto parts enterprises in Liuzhou. Therefore, it is of vital significance and necessity to build Liuzhou Automotive Frontier Technologies Seminar into a long-term and sustainable platform of scientific and technological innovation and service with a fixed location and high level, so as to make Liuzhou a well-known brand of scientific and technological culture.
In the morning, Megumi (Japanese), former senior CMF designer of Mazda Styling Department and CMF design professor at Osaka Municipal Institute of Styling, gave a lecture entitled “CMF, an Important Design Element of Styling”, which consisted of four parts, namely, the definition of CMF, the role of CMF (color, material and craft) in car modeling, the “color and material” showing the charm of cars, the coordination and collocation of cars’ exterior color and interior color and the way of using colors to enhance the charm of goods.
In the afternoon, Sasaki Hiroshi (Japanese), previously Honda interior decoration/seat expert, gave a lecture entitled “Comparison and Evaluation of Seats”, which included following five parts, the standard outline of seats, the comparison between seats from China and those from Japan, the elements of seats (skeleton, cushion and skin), the performance of seats and the future of seats (materials, styling and design).
At the end of the lecture, the audiences actively raised questions and interacted with speakers.
This Seminar has received a positive response. The audiences said that they had learned a lot, and it was such an honor to listen to the ideas of experts from countries leading the automobile industry and to have in-depth communication with them, It was also very enlightening and helpful to solve difficulties in the work. They added that they were looking forward to such practical and high-level training lectures, which would provide them great convenience to access and learn in Liuzhou international advanced technologies and information of automobiles.
