From News Center (Reported by Tan Luying, CYL Committee of LVTC) On September 25th, 2020, according to the announcement of the Winners of 9th CHALLENGE CUP Guangxi College Students Business Plan Competition (GQLF [2020] No. 28) jointly issued by Guangxi Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Association for Science and Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Guangxi Student Association, LVTC has set a record for the level and number of awards, including 4 gold awards, 5 silver awards and 11 bronze awards, and has been awarded the “Champion Cup” and “Outstanding Organization Award” in the 9th “CHALLENGE CUP” Guangxi College Students Business Plan Competition.

The “CHALLENGE CUP” Competition, known as the "Olympic Games" for scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship of Chinese college students, is one of the nine symbolic achievements specified in the national "Plan for the Construction of High-quality Higher Vocational Schools and Specialties with Chinese Characteristics" and one of the four competitions at the national level or above defined in documents. There are two parallel contests in the “CHALLENGE CUP” Competition. One is the “CHALLENGE CUP” National College Students Business Plan Competition. The other is the “CHALLENGE CUP” National College Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Contest. These two national contests are carried out alternately and each one is held every two years.

Our college have attached great importance to the competition since it was launched in July. CYL Committee, Academic Affairs and Practical Training Management Office well organized and widely mobilized students to explore the each projects within the LVTC innovation and entrepreneurship system, and selected the outstanding projects through online application and experts’ evaluation. 20 out of the 26 projects were recommended to enter the regional competition eventually, and all of them were awarded after all. CYL Committee of LVTC organized roadshow rehearsal for many times during preparation and made improvements with the help of instructors; Academic Affairs and Practical Training Management Office invited relevant experts to conduct special training for the entrepreneurial team, and provided important guidance on the preparation of project application materials, on-site presentations, and oral defence skills, which effectively improved the team's comprehensive ability.

It is reported that the nationwide final of 12th “CHALLENGE CUP” National College Students Business Plan Competition will be held in November 2020. Guangxi has announced 26 projects participating in the competition, among which, our “Industrial Robot Fixture and Technology Industrialization” and “Xinrong Clothing - Innovation Leader of Environmental Washing Technology of Cowboy Outfit”, two gold-award projects in Guangxi Competition, reached in the final,  (Only 5 projects from higher vocational colleges of Guang Xi reached the final). Our college will continue to organize and coordinate the event conscientiously, and to do our best to prepare for the competition, and strive to achieve better results.

CYL Committee of LVTC will also take this opportunity to lead young students face the challenges, and fight hard to integrate their life dreams and entrepreneurial dreams into the historical process of national rejuvenation and construction of powerful modern state, thereby write a more brilliant chapter worthy of the times and history with the youth.
