Prof. Gan Jinming, President of LVTC, was invited to attend the event and made a speech on the theme of integration of industry and vocational education.

In his speech, Mr. Gan Jinming pointed out that deepening the integration of industry and education and promoting the organic connection of the education chain, talent chain, industry chain and innovation chain were strategic measures to advance the priority of education development, talent-led development, industrial innovation development and high-quality economic development in a mutually coherent and synergistic manner.

He believes that the integration of industry and education have been known to the public as a buzzword, and is one of the priorities that the government, universities, colleges, industry, and other parties were committed to promoting, for which the country have even issued a series of programmatic guidelines to promote the reform of the integration of industry and education. No matter from international experience or domestic economic development needs, in order to realize the "integration" of the "industrial chain, innovation chain and talent chain", we must pursue integration of industry and education. The integration of industry and education through school-enterprise cooperation is an inevitable choice to optimize the characteristic vocational education, an inherent need to promote its high-quality development, as well as an effective way to promote the high-quality development of regional industries.

Gan Jinming highlighted the innovation and practice of the integration of industry and education in LVTC, which is based on the interests and demands of the industry and enterprises. It is necessary to find suitable areas for cooperation; a platform and innovative ways should be used to deepen cooperation; the construction of communication and operation mechanisms should be strengthened to ensure the effective development of cooperation. Meanwhile, he introduced in detail the "three integration and four sharing" model explored by LVTC, as well as a series of specific industry-education integration platforms such as characteristic industry colleges, collaborative innovation research institutes, "factories in colleges", "colleges in factories", "enterprise managed centers", "implanted workstations" and youth practice bases of LiuGong-LVTC Global Customer Experience Center.

Gan Jinming's speech combines with the spirit of the National Conference on Vocational Education in 2021 and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech during his inspection. It contains the theoretical height, practical innovation and prospect of the future integration of industry and vocational education, which was well received and praised by the chairperson and the audience.
