From News Center(Reported & pictures by Yang Fan,School of Automotive Engineering ) On June 30, 2021, the School of Automotive Engineering held a special job fair for the 2021 SAIC Volkswagen SCEP school-enterprise cooperation project in T4 teaching building on Guantang campus. 14 dealers from SAIC Volkswagen and Skoda 4S stores from across Guangxi participated in the job fair.

Due to the epidemic, the job fair was held online . The dealers interviewed the students through real-time videos , which was very impressive.

Before the interview, the teachers of project of the School of Automotive Engineering sent the students’resumes to the distributors, and introduced the students’basic information, learning achievements, and employment intentions so that the distributors could know more about the students to ensure the interviews to be done smoothly. During the interview, the employers introduced the general situations of the companies, career development paths, job requirements and personnel requirements to the students through videos and communicated with the students so that the students had a new understanding of the recruitment.

After the interview, the employers showed high recognition to the online interviews as well as the students’ performance which represents the talent training quality of LVTC. Some employers expressed their willingness for further cooperation. In the next stage, LVTC will hold a number of job fairs to help students get full employment. At the same time, all the students are expected to pay attention to the recruitment information released by LVTC in time, to seize the opportunity, take the initiative, and realize their career dreams.
