From News Center (Reported by Wen Qiang from School of Automobile Engineering,pictures by Converged Media Center) On July 8th, a launching ceremony was held at Guantang campus of LVTC to start the School of Intelligent and Automated Connected Vehicles Industry, SGMW Intelligent Vehicles Training Center and SGMW Global Service Training Center which were jointly established by Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College（LVTC） and SGMW Automobile Co. Ltd.

The ceremony was presided over by Wu Xing, dean of the School of Automotive Engineering of LVTC.

Attenders were as follows: Teng Dinglian, the researcher from Liuzhou Development and Reform Commission, Wu Qijun, the Deputy Director from Liuzhou Foreign Affairs Office,Gan Jinming and Qu Fan, school leaders of LVTC, Shen Yunxiao, Wang Daobin, Li Shuying, Liu Zuomei, Geng Huangzheng, Liu Jingwei, leaders from SGMW, dealer representatives, and representatives of teachers and students from relevant departments of LVTC, and media reporters .

At the ceremony, President Gan Jinming delivered a speech on behalf of LVTC, Deputy General Manager Shen Yunxiao remarked on behalf of SGMW, and Wu Qijun, Deputy Director of Liuzhou Foreign Affairs Office spoke on behalf of leaders at all levels.

President Gan Jinming said in his speech that LVTC had always been adhering to the school-running model of deepening school-enterprise cooperation, industry-education integration, and actively connecting with high-end industries and industrial update.

In recent years, LCVT has been focusing on the needs of local industrial development and empowering Liuzhou’s industrial development actively, sticking to the principles of Cooperative School-running, Cooperative Education, Cooperative Employment, and Cooperative Development; innovating the school-enterprise cooperation system and mechanism, and building a collaborative innovation research institute and featured industry schools, constructing Experience Centers and Training Bases and several other types of cooperative innovative platforms in a dual-subject way, exploring and practicing the “2-Dockings, 3-Integrations and 4-Sharings”mode of converging industry with education, forming the school-running characteristics of “Relying on Liuzhou, Interacting with industry, Promoting education by industry and Serving the local area”.

Shen Yunxiao, deputy general manager of SGMW, said in his speech that in recent years, supported by various favorable policies from the state, Guangxi Autonomous Region of Zhuang Nationality and Liuzhou Municipality, SGMW had insisted on the integration of industry and education, cooperated in depth with various institutes in talent introduction and talent training and formed new training models such as Order Classes, School-enterprise Dual System, and Modern Apprenticeship.

LVTC, as a national model higher vocational college and a construction unit of the National Double-High Plan, is also a strategic partner of SGMW.

Adhering to the original intention of serving the local industry, LVTC has been vigorously supporting SGMW on talent training and introducing with high-quality teaching resources and human resources. They have established a deep friendship of long-term strategic cooperation.

With the strong support of the policy of integration of industry and education, SGMW and LVTC continue to deepen the cooperation to cultivate high-quality talents required for the development of New Smart Mobility Ecosystem and promote the high-quality development of Liuzhou and Guangxi’s automobile industry, striving unremittingly for the independence and self-improvement of China's automobile industry!
