From News Center (Text & Picture by Zhao Cui, Science and Technology Development and School-Enterprise Cooperation Office) A few days ago, Liuzhou Science and Technology Bureau issued the “Notice on Identifying the Eleventh Batch of Engineering Technology Research Centers in Liuzhou”(Notice of Liuzhou Science [2021] No. 48 ), “Liuzhou Automobile High-performance Light Alloy Engineering Technology Research Center”, led by LVTC, was successfully approved.
“Liuzhou Automotive High Performance Light Alloy Engineering Technology Research Center” is led by LVTC and jointly established with Liuzhou Yiyang Technology Co., Ltd. Dr. Lou Huashan from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering serves as the principal. It is an application technology research and development platform for the automotive industry, focusing on the preparation, development and application of high-performance light alloy materials for vehicles. “Liuzhou Automotive High-performance Light Alloy Engineering Technology Research Center” was finally recognized as the 2021 Liuzhou Engineering Technology Research Center after the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau organized on-site defense, on-site inspection, and expert review, which fully reflects LVTC’s commitment to materials science technical strength in the field. Based on the advantages of the school, the center will aim at the goal of lightweight new energy vehicles, vigorously carry out scientific research and technological innovation, and strive to build a high-level scientific research platform with distinctive characteristics in the region that integrates technology research and development, engineering, and promotion and application.
So far, the school has a total of 6 municipal engineering technology research centers. The approval and construction of the new municipal engineering technology research center will further strengthen the connection and cooperation between our school and enterprises, continuously improve our school’s scientific and technological innovation capabilities and research capabilities, and better serve the local economic and social development.
