Good news: Students from LVTC won the first prize in the finals of the 8th “Xuechuang Cup” National College Student Entrepreneurship Simulation Contest

From News Center(Text by Xu Ming,Innovation and Entrepreneurship College; Tan Licheng, KAB Entrepreneurship Club for Undergraduates; Photo by Tan Licheng, KAB Entrepreneurship Club for College Students) Recently, the finals of the 8th “Xuechuang (Learning and Creating) Cup”National College Student Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation Contest in 2021 was held in Dianchi College, Yunnan University.  After a day of fierce online competition, contestants of LVTC won the first prize. LVTC also won Excellent Organization Award.

162 teams from 162 universities across the country, more than 480 contestants and more than 160 instructors participated in this competition. Team Dream Flying includes  Tan Licheng. from Sand Table Team of college students KAB Entrepreneurship Club (Class 1 from 2019 Automobile Application and Maintenance Technology ), Huang Yuhe (Class 1 from 2020 Industrial Design ), and Tan Jinling (Class 1 from 2020 Environmental Engineering Technology ) .  Under the guidance of Professor Xu Ming and Associate Professor Pan Feng, after hard training, in the main competition,LVTC won the first prize of the 8th “Xuechuang Cup” National College Student Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation Competition Finals.

The “Xuechuang Cup”National College Student Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation Competition aims to respond to the national requirements of “innovation to lead development and build a strong country with science and technology”, to further promote mass innovation and entrepreneurship, promote the development of higher education quality, and accelerate the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents. The development of the competition provides the college students with the opportunities to compete on the same stage and exchange and learn from each other, which helps to deepen students’understanding and application of professional knowledge, and cultivate students’teamwork and innovation spirit and comprehensive qualities.

This competition is not only an assessment of the individual ability requirements of participating students, but also a consideration of the team’s ability to cooperate, and it is also a concrete realization of the promotion of learning by competition. The competition is short, but it inspires young college students’dreams of innovation and entrepreneurship in the new era. “Entrepreneurship is unlimited, youth is promising”!
