Good News! LVTC Included in the Winner List of Outstanding School Award of 7th Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Awards

From News Center (Text/photos by Xu Juan, Publicity Department of the Party Committee) On February 16, China Vocational Education Association published the winner list of the 7th Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Awards and Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College (LVTC) was included in the winner list of the Outstanding School Award, making LVTC the only vocational college in Guangxi that has been awarded.

It is understood that the Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award is an important award in the field of vocational education established by the China Vocational Education Association and approved by the State Council. Since its launch in 2007, it has made positive contributions to the promotion of Huang Yanpei's vocational education ideology, the establishment of advanced models of vocational education, the guidance and promotion of the innovative development of vocational education, and the construction of a modern vocational education system. Four awards are set up this year, namely, Outstanding School Award, Outstanding President Award, Outstanding Teacher Award, and Outstanding Contribution Award. The winner list was generated after the information review of multiple provincial-level vocational education associations, the online preliminary review of the online review group, the review of the review committee, and the final review of the selection and commendation work leading group. A total of 55 outstanding schools, 54 outstanding presidents, 103 outstanding teachers, and 5 outstanding contribution winners are awarded.

In recent years, LVTC has actively promoted and implemented Huang Yanpei's vocational education ideology, established the school-running concepts of "promoting the school with quality, prospering the school with characteristics, and enhancing the school with culture", carried forward the spirits of LVTC of "being a down-to-earth person and work conscientiously", and adhered to the school motto of "high ambition, diligent learning, strong ability, and excellent skills". Regarding "cultivating talents through strengthening moral education" as the fundamental task, LVTC takes the mission of "cultivating students to be the preferred choice for enterprises", takes the cultivation of quality as the basic and the improvement of technical skills as the focus, and closely combines work and learning, thus making positive contributions to the cultivation of high-quality and technically skilled talents for regional economic and social development. Relying on Liuzhou's industrial development, LVTC has continuously deepened the integration of industry and education and the cooperation between schools and enterprises, forming the distinctive school-running characteristics of "relying on Liuzhou, industry and school interaction, serving the local". Therefore, LVTC has been successively awarded as the excellent school in the evaluation of talent training level in higher vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education, the national model higher vocational institution, the national high-quality higher vocational institution, the construction unit of the high-level higher vocational institution and major groups with Chinese characteristics, and the national advanced unit of vocational education.

LVTC will take this opportunity to implement the important directive spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping on accelerating the construction of a modern vocational education system, fostering more high-quality technical and skilled talents, skilled craftsmen, and great craftsmen.
