School of Internetional Education Convenes Online Conference for Spring Semester 2022

(Text by Huang Jianxia, Office of International Exchange (Office of International Exchange); Photos by Wu Zhaohui, Office of International Exchange (Office of International Exchange)) In order to carry out the pandemic prevention and control regularly and ensure the orderly implementation of all works at the beginning of the new semester, the School of Internetional Education convenes an online conference for Spring Semester 2022 on the afternoon of March 3rd to arrange the works of offline international students. Wei Linhua, Director of the Office of International Exchange, Wu Zhaohui, Deputy Director of the Office of International Exchange, and all teaching staff of the Office of International Exchange participated in the conference.

During the conference, Huang Jiaxia conveyed the requirements of epidemic prevention and control at the beginning of Spring Semester 2022, emphasized the disciplines during the 14-day closed management period and the requirements of dining in the canteens and online learning. In response to the demand of international students for further studies this semester, Wu Hao, head of the external Chinese teaching team, introduced the arrangements for the recent Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) and answered the questions raised by international students.

In his concluding speech, Wei Linhua once again emphasized the discipline requirements for the new semester, hoping that international students can attend classes on time, seize the learning opportunities, and be able to apply to the desired universities to continue their studies. Wei Linhua also put forward different requirements according to different situations of international students who cannot return to school recently due to different reasons.

Attaching great importance to the epidemic prevention and control of international students, under the unified deployment of the Party committee of Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College, the School of Internetional Education continues to carry out assimilation management of Chinese and international students in epidemic prevention and control and daily management, so as to effectively ensure the health and life safety of teachers and students of the School of Internetional Education.
