News from News Center (Text and Photos by Guo Xinyuan, Publicity Department of Party Committee) In the afternoon of May 23, 2022, an unveiling ceremony of the Base of Liuzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles - LVTC on Craftsmanship and Celebrated Artists Bank was held at the Craftsmanship Academy. Tang Xu, Vice Chairman of Liuzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Member of Party Group, and Yang Lin, Director of the Publicity Department of Party Committee, attended the ceremony and jointly unveiled the base. The ceremony was presided over by Wang Qi, Executive Dean of Craftsmanship Academy.

Tang Xu delivered a speech at the unveiling ceremony. On behalf of the Liuzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles, he extended a welcome to all the guests, and expressed gratitude to leaders who cared about and supported Liuzhou's literary and artistic work, as well as to teachers and students of LVTC. Then, he introduced the concept of Liuzhou Mobile Literature and Art Salon proposed by the Liuzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles since 2021. He expressed that, the Craftsmanship and Celebrated Artists Bank jointly promoted by the Federation of Literary and Art Circles and LVTC would provide a platform for Liuzhou artists, and teachers for LVTC, facilitating the artists to directly contact teachers and students. In the future, the Federation of Literary and Art Circles will, based on the characteristics of art categories, carry out a wide series of literary and art volunteer service themed activities in various forms, serving people with excellent literary and artistic works, and act as faithful and responsible literary and art workers of the new era to contribute to building magnificent Liuzhou, Guangxi under the concept of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.

After the unveiling ceremony, the eighth event of Craftsmanship Celebrated Forum was held in the “Happiness Division” of Craftsmanship Academy. Meng Chao, Member of China Photographers Association, former vice-chairman of Liuzhou Photographers Association, and professional photographer, gave a lecture titled “Small Lenses, Big World (Mobile Photography Sharing)”. The students were thrilled by the humorous explanations and practical exercises in the Academy. They said, “This lecture was so interesting, I learned a lot !” At the end of the lecture, the students were reluctant to leave, and kept shuttering and exchanging ideas with each other. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm.

It is learned that the Base of Liuzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles - LVTC on Craftsmanship and Celebrated Artists Bank was inaugurated and established in the LVTC Craftsmanship Academy, aiming to build a platform for communication and promotion between the two parties through Celebrated Artists Bank, thereby introducing more celebrated artists for LVTC students, enabling students and faculty to experience more high-quality literary and cultural exchange activities, learn more excellent artistic works, and receive more and better cultural nourishment.
