As an excellent representative in vocational education in Guangxi, LVTC was invited to attend the conference on site. During the conference, LVTC shone in many activities and showcased its achievements.

During the event, the first World Vocational College Skills Competition and the Online World Expo on the Integration of Vocational Education with Industry were also held, and the Proposal of Establishing World TVET League was announced. As one of the representatives invited to attend the conference on site and deliver speeches, Ju Hongxia, Vice President of LVTC, attended the Forum on Future-oriented Curriculum Reform in Vocational Education and delivered a speech. Ju introduced LVTC's experience in curriculum construction from four aspects. First, during curriculum construction, it is necessary to combine the needs of enterprises with the needs of students' development. Second, the professional ability training should be integrated with the professional quality. Third, the seven-step approach should be followed during curriculum construction. Fourth, it is necessary to adhere to in-depth school-enterprise cooperation. In addition, Ju also showed the participants the practical experience and achievements of LVTC in curriculum construction.

During the first World Vocational College Skills Competition, the competing team from LVTC participated in the Virtual Reality (VR) Design and Production Competition. The team, composed of two Chinese students and two Indonesian students, stood out from the 18 teams and won the championship. Qin Baozhen and Li Chuang from LVTC won the excellent instructor awards. At the closing ceremony, Ju Hongxia, on behalf of LVTC, received the award from Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Education.

During the conference, the Proposal of Establishing World TVET League (hereinafter referred to as "the League") was also announced. As the only representative of Guangxi and one of the initiators of the League, LVTC participated in the meeting of establishing the League. Meanwhile, LVTC also actively participated in the Online World Expo on the Integration of Vocational Education with Industry.

It is reported that this conference is held to implement the remarkable outcomes produced by the High-level Dialogue on Global Development chaired by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and to implement the Global Development Initiative. It is the first international vocational education conference initiated and sponsored by the Chinese government. The conference was highly valued by the international community. About 700 representatives from 123 countries registered and attended the conference.

In recent years, LVTC has adhered to serving the global development of regional international enterprises. With enterprises' implementation of the strategy of going global, LVTC has worked with Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. and established three international craftsman colleges in Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Indonesia in order to cultivate overseas local technical skilled talents for the overseas branches and distributor systems of LiuGong, and support the global service upgrade of LiuGong. LVTC has also worked with LiuGong, SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co. Ltd. and Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co., Ltd. and established global training centers to carry out on-site and online trainings for nearly 2,000 global technical service personnel of local enterprises on an average annual basis. Relying on the two international education platforms based on school-enterprise cooperation (i.e. international craftsman colleges and global training centers), LVTC has successfully exported 49 standards and 15 textbooks in English, Thai and Indonesian, and achieved an income of RMB 2.1957 million from overseas management consulting and technical services. During the expo, LVTC demonstrated its achievements in international exchange, international cooperative education, and international programs, and presented to the world LVTC's international education program that is aligned with regional leading enterprises' strategy of going global.
