The High-level Talents Exchange Meeting of Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College (LVTC) was successfully held on September 6. A delivery ceremony of Wuling new energy vehicle (NEV) and a symposium were also held for a group of newly introduced high-level talents. Focusing on further promoting exchanges and cooperation among the government, universities and enterprises, the meeting aims to build a high-level talent highland for vocational education, strive to deliver high-level vocational education with excellent quality, and welcome the 20th CPC National Congress with practical actions.

Leaders including Zhong Xiaoping, Deputy Mayor of Liuzhou Municipal People's Government, Chi Fubo, Member of the Department Affairs Commission of the Organization Department of the CPC Liuzhou Municipal Committee and Director of Liuzhou Party Member Education Center, Zeng Jiansheng, Third-level Inspector of Liuzhou Municipal Education Bureau, Jin Lei, Deputy Director of Liuzhou Science and Technology Bureau, and Cao Zhiyong, Fourth-level Inspector of Liuzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, attended the meeting. Leaders of LVTC including Liu Zilin, Gan Jinming, Yang Xu, and Qu Fan, as well as relevant heads of departments and Schools in LVTC, teacher representatives and enterprise representatives participated in the event.

Official inauguration marked the launch of another national high-end talent team project

On the morning of the same day, Zhong Xiaoping, Chi Fubo, Jin Lei, Liu Zilin and Gan Jinming inaugurated the LVTC 3D Printing Technology Center, jointly witnessing the launch of another national high-end talent team project introduced by Liuzhou.

President Gan Jinming of LVTC said in his speech that the joint construction of 3D Printing Technology Center with Suzhou XDM 3D Printing Technology Co., Ltd. is not only a boost and support for LVTC, but also an inspiration and opportunity. LVTC with strong momentum will surely be equipped with extra strength and provided with stronger support for further reform and innovation, image establishment and brand creation.

New cars were delivered and new momentum for high-quality development was gathered

"I got the keys to my new car two months after I became a teacher of LVTC. I was very excited to have a new BaoJun KiWi EV. What surprised me more was that I also got the river snail rice noodles of the school's own brand. The weight of the river snail rice noodles makes me feel the love of LVTC for our new teachers!" said Dr. Tang Hui at the car delivery ceremony for new teachers when she delivered her acceptance speech and expressed her gratitude to Liuzhou Municipal Committee, Government and LVTC for recruiting talents with preferential treatment. She hoped to contribute to the vocational education development, and economic and social development of Liuzhou.

At the ceremony, Liu Zilin, Secretary of Party Committee of LVTC, said they would endeavor to cultivate, introduce and make good use of talents in an all-round way to implement the spirit of CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on vocational education. In recent years, taking advantage of the reform of vocational education, LVTC has formulated a series of new systems and mechanisms, and adopted a number of innovative measures to promote the introduction of high-level talents. Up to now, the number of doctors this year has doubled, which has greatly enriched the high-level talent team of the university. In the end, on the occasion of Teachers' Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, Secretary Liu Zilin sent holiday blessings to everyone in advance.

Gather wisdom and strength to create a new highland for gathering high-level talents

On the morning of the same day, LVTC High-level Talent Exchange Symposium was also held. Municipal leaders and high-level talents from all over the country sought further development through joint efforts and looked forward to a better future at the symposium. Representatives of newly introduced high-level talents explained the current situation of teaching and scientific research respectively, and put forward opinions and suggestions on further strengthening the introduction and cultivation of high-level talents, optimizing the training system, and improving one-stop integrated talent services from the perspectives of their own life experiences and their posts.

Zhong Xiaoping, Deputy Mayor of Liuzhou Municipal People's Government, delivered a speech at the symposium. She fully affirmed the outstanding contributions made by high-level talents in serving the regional economic and social construction and the high-quality development of vocational education, and hoped that they would take root in Liuzhou to develop their own career and make greater contributions to promoting the high-quality economic and social development of Liuzhou and China's vocational education. At the end of the symposium, Deputy Mayor Zhong Xiaoping wished all participants a happy Teachers' Day and Mid-Autumn Festival in advance.

As a national exemplary vocational college and a national high quality vocational college, Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College (LVTC) has been enlisted in the "National Double High-Quality Plan". It is among the top 4% of 1486 vocational colleges in China in terms of comprehensive strength and is among the National Top 50 Vocational College in Teaching Management, Student Management, Teaching Resources, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. It is the only school in Guangxi successfully included in the four lists of China Vocational Education Quality Annual Report, winning a grand slam, namely Higher Vocational Colleges with Typical Services and Contributions, Higher Vocational Colleges with Resource Construction Advantages, Top 100 Higher Vocational Colleges with Excellent Student Development Index, and Top 100 Higher Vocational Colleges with Excellent Teacher Development Index. It has also won the first prize of the First National Textbook Construction Award in Guangxi. In the final analysis, LVTC has a strong influence in vocational education in China. In the middle of last month, LVTC won the gold award in the first World Vocational Students Skills Competition and received the award from Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Education.

LVTC has always been providing strong talent and intellectual support for promoting the high-quality development of Liuzhou's industries and building a livable and business-friendly autonomous region-level talent city with industry-talent integration. It has been awarded the title of the advanced (outstanding) unit for employment of college graduates in Guangxi for 21 consecutive years and has become an important force serving the local regional economic and social development. LVTC will continue to contribute to accelerating the construction of a modern manufacturing city and a trillion-yuan industrial city, and writing Liuzhou's chapter of building a magnificent autonomous region of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era with all efforts.
