LVTC Successfully Hosted the Third River Snail Rice Noodles Skills Competition in Yufeng District in 2022

The competition was co-sponsored by the Organization Department of the CPC Yufeng District Committee, the Federation of Trade Unions, the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Industry and Information Technology Bureau, the Science and Technology Bureau, the Health Bureau, the Emergency Management Bureau, and the District Administration for Market Regulation of Yufeng District, as well as the Park Management Committee, and organized by the School of Liuzhou Luosifen Industry of LVTC. Vice President Qu Fan delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the school, and Jia Zhijuan, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yufeng District Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of Yufeng District, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
More than 30 contestants from 6 river snail rice noodles enterprises in Yufeng District participated in a one-day competition in the School of Luosifen Industry at Guantang Campus of LVTC. After a day of fierce competition, the team from Guangxi Luobawang Food Co., Ltd. won the first prize, the team from Guangxi Luozhuangyuan Food Technology Co., Ltd. won the second prize, and the team from Guangxi Hugui Food Group Co., Ltd. and the team from Guangxi Xingliu Food Co., Ltd. won the third prize respectively. Leaders including Wei Jinwen, third-level inspector of the Liuzhou Federation of Trade Unions, and Hu Song, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yufeng District Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, presented the awards to the winning teams.
The biggest highlight of this competition is the combination of competition and standard publicity and implementation. After being appointed the preparatory task of the competition, the School of Liuzhou Luosifen Industry immediately held a brainstorming session on the theme of "how to hold a River Snail Rice Noodles Skill Competition that is different from the previous two and can highlight the characteristics of LVTC". After discussion, it was determined to set the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on "controlling quality and safety, promoting standardization and branding" for the Liuzhou river snail rice noodles industry during his visit to the Liuzhou river snail rice noodles production cluster in April 2021, and the local standards and group standards in related fields of Liuzhou river snail rice noodles industry just issued by Liuzhou government as the direction of the competition. Afterwards, repeated discussions were conducted with the School of Continuing Education, the School of Environmental and Food Engineering, and the School of Trade and Tourism Management. Finally, according to the relevant standards of Liuzhou river snail rice noodles drafted by LVTC and part of the published standards in the related fields of Liuzhou river snail rice noodles industry, three competitions were set up, namely "Inspection Skills of River Snail Rice Noodles Products", "River Snail Rice Noodles Live-streaming Marketing", and "Quality and Safety Management of River Snail Rice Noodles Industry". The "Quality and Safety Management of River Snail Rice Noodles Industry" competition was based on the standard system of the whole industrial chain of Liuzhou river snail rice noodles, involving raw material processing technology, hygiene requirements, bacteria content limit, metal content detection, product packaging standards. The contestants should understand and master the knowledge of quality and safety management of river snail rice noodles industry in an all-round way. The competition could help contestants understand and master the knowledge of quality and safety management of river snail rice noodles production. The "Inspection Skills of River Snail Rice Noodles Products" competition guided contestants to get familiar with the standardized methods of sodium nitrite content inspection in pickles, the soul ingredients of river snail rice noodles, including sour bamboo shoots, and sour beans, and helped all participating enterprises improve their product inspection skills in the form of competition so as to ensure the product quality and safety. The "Code of Conduct for River Snail Rice Noodles Live-streaming Marketing" competition focused on the contestants' understanding of the culture of river snail rice noodles in Liuzhou and the knowledge of Network marketing and management of river snail rice noodles.
The sponsors spoke highly of LVTC's ability to organize the event, saying that the event was organized formally with reasonably-set-up competitions and met the requirements of the People's Government of Liuzhou Municipality for high-quality industrial development.
