Good News: LVTC was Included in the First Batch of Class A "One-stop" Student Community Construction Units in Guangxi

From News Center (Text/Photo by Mo Lina, Student Affairs Office) Recently, according to the Notice of the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Announcing the List of First Batch of Class A and Class B "One-stop" Student Community Construction Units in Guangxi (GJSZ [2022] No. 27), LVTC was included in the first batch of Class A "One-stop" Student Community Construction Units in Guangxi.

With the goal of adhering to the guidance of Party building, carrying forward the spirit of craftsmanship and building a first-class student community with distinctive characteristics, LVTC was awarded the first batch of pilot schools of "one-stop" student community management mode construction in Guangxi in November 2021. The Party Committee of LVTC attached great importance to it, regularly listened to the work report of the "one-stop" student community and studied and decided on major matters. Through the establishment of the leading group for the construction of the "one-stop" student community management mode of LVTC, led by the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee of LVTC, jointly promoted by the Organization Department of the Party Committee, the Publicity Department of the CPC LVTC Committee, the Youth League Committee, the Logistics Support Department and other relevant departments, the independent pilot of the "one-stop" student community management mode construction of the Ministry of Education started in December 2021, with the mechanisms such as the Party building workstation of the Party Committee members of LVTC and the Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Secondary School contacting the community. In the past three years, LVTC has invested more than RMB 15 million to build public physical spaces such as the "one-stop" comprehensive service center, the Ingenuity Academy, and the student dormitory Party building workstation, and has initially built a public physical space with complete functions, proper services, as well as immersive ideal and faith education function with cultural influence. By making full use of the Community Ingenuity Academy, the campus Party building workstation, and introducing teams including school-level leaders, leaders of functional departments and the Secondary Schools, full-time and part-time counselors, and professional instructors (teachers) to settle in LVTC, we have carried out activities related to Party building, ideology and politics, culture, art and physical and mental quality, and built a student community work team of educational cooperation, common direction, care for students' growth. The fact that LVTC was included in the list this time is a full affirmation of LVTC's "one-stop" student community construction.

In the next step, LVTC will continue to adhere to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, and the combination of maintaining direction and following rules, system design and key breakthroughs, and the people-oriented management and strict management, to establish a "21122" construction model of "one-stop" student community, promote the normalization of "front-line rules", vigorously carry out the construction of student communities from the aspects of team settlement, system improvement, entity construction, and high-quality activities, and strive to build the student community into a frontier for student Party building, a practice park for "Three-in-one Education" and a safe campus model.
