Huang Xiongbiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Deputy Director, and First-level Inspector of the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Lu Liuping, Deputy Mayor of Liuzhou, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Qin Zhuangcai, Chief of Division of Vocational and Adult Education of the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, presided over the meeting. Liu Zilin, Secretary of the Party Committee of LVTC, Gan Jinming, President of LVTC, and other leaders of LVTC, as well as relevant leaders from 14 prefectural and municipal education departments and nearly 100 vocational colleges and secondary vocational schools jointly attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Huang Xiongbiao summarized the achievements of vocational education in Guangxi in the past year and the decade of the new era, analyzed the opportunities and challenges of the construction of Guangxi's high-quality modern vocational education system, and made arrangements for Guangxi's vocational education. He pointed out that in the past year, the fundamental task of moral education and talent cultivation in Guangxi has been further implemented, the development conditions have been further improved, the development structure has been further optimized, the quality of talent training has been further improved, the ability of service development has been further improved, and the level of teacher construction has been further improved. Over the past decade, Guangxi's vocational education system has been improved, high-quality resources have been enriched, the quality of development has been steadily improved, and the service ability has been significantly enhanced. Huang Xiongbiao required that we should deeply study and understand the new deployment and requirements of the 20th National Congress of CPC on vocational education, and accurately grasp the opportunities and challenges of the construction of a high-quality modern vocational education system in Guangxi. He stressed that we should implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue and educating people, and use Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to cultivate people. We should cultivate high-quality resources and implement the construction of the "Four Major Projects", build high-level college connotation to continuously improve education and teaching, and complement professional teachers to constantly improve the level of teacher construction. We should attach importance to quality evaluation and inter-school assistance so as to build both internal and external quality assurance system, pay attention to service industry, service opening and cooperation so as to build a new brand of vocational education in Guangxi, focus on project acceptance so as to build an excellent brand of foreign loan projects.

Lu Liuping pointed out in his speech that in recent years, under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the CPC Liuzhou Municipal Committee and Liuzhou Municipal People’s Government has deeply practiced the development concept of "To develop vocational education is to promote development, build a better future and improve people's livelihood." By strengthening the overall planning of the government, promoting the convergence and integration of education and training resources to industrial parks, focusing on the transformation and upgrading of regional pillar industries such as automobile industry, new manufacturing and new energy, and adjusting and optimizing the layout and structure of majors, Guangxi has initially formed a modern vocational education system with Liuzhou characteristics, featuring "Government Guidance, Integration of Industry and Education, and Integrated Development". She stressed that in the future, Liuzhou will, in accordance with the deployment of this meeting, strive to assume an important mission and play a greater role in the high-quality development of Guangxi's vocational education construction reform, and transform General Secretary Xi Jinping's earnest encouragement of "The prospect of vocational education is broad and promising" into a concrete practice to promote the high-quality development of vocational education in Guangxi and help the construction of "Magnificent Guangxi".

Liuzhou Municipal Education Bureau, Qinzhou Municipal Education Bureau, Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College (LVTC), Guangxi Modern Polytechnic College, Nanning First Vocational and Technical School, and Ping Nan Secondary Vocational Technical School made exchange speeches at the scene.

Pan Xuyang, Secretary of the Education Work Committee of the CPC Liuzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Liuzhou Municipal Education Bureau, delivered a keynote speech on behalf of the Education Work Committee of the CPC Liuzhou Municipal Committee with the theme of "Deepening the Integration of Industry and Education, Building a Modern System and Promoting the High-quality Development of Local Economy and Society". He introduced the development of Liuzhou's vocational education in terms of seizing opportunities, cultivating and expanding high-quality vocational education resources, making unremitting efforts, and exploring the construction of a modern vocational education system with Liuzhou characteristics. He said that Liuzhou will, in accordance with the spirit of this meeting, take practical responsibilities, and accelerate the construction, reform and development of Liuzhou's modern vocational education system. Efforts will also be made to play a greater role in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's vocational education in terms of the integration of industry and education, the integration of science and education, and high-quality development.

Gan Jinming, President of LVTC, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Integration of 'Education Chain, Industrial Chain, and Innovation Chain' to Build Characteristic Industrial Schools and Promote High-quality Development of Regional Economy", telling LVTC's experience in vigorously developing characteristic and exemplary industrial schools and promoting high-quality development of regional economy. First, root in the local area. Majors are built on the industrial chain and integrated development of colleges, enterprises, industries, and cities. Second, innovate mechanisms, explore models, create characteristic brands of industrial schools. Third, deepen the connotation, improve quality and efficiency, and realize the high-quality development of industrial schools. In the next step, LVTC will take industrial schools as the carrier, vigorously practice the integration of industry and education and the integration of science and education, comprehensively deepen the college connotation development, and build first-class characteristic industrial schools with distinctive characteristics in China.

On the afternoon of the same day, the participants were divided into five groups for discussion and visited LVTC School of Luosifen Industry, 3D Printing Center, Engineering Practice Center, Intelligent Manufacturing Empowerment Center, etc.
