Good News: The School of Finance and Logistics Management Won the First National Patent

From News Center (Text and Photo by Luo Yuanyuan from School of Finance and Logistics Management) Recently, the Adjustable Shelf invented by Luo Yuanyuan, a logistics management teacher of the School of Finance and Logistics Management, was granted the national utility model patent. It is the first time that the logistics management major and the School of Finance and Logistics Management have obtained a national invention patent.

It is understood that the patent is about industrial logistics and is targeted to handle idle metal packaging for logistics among industrial packaging in Liuzhou. In cooperation with SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd., a well-known enterprise in Liuzhou, the team led by Luo Yuanyuan has continuously carried out in-depth research focusing on the application of industrial packaging in Liuzhou, finding that idle metal packaging for logistics is a headache for enterprises. To solve this problem, the team focused on the research of industrial packaging technology, analyzed the structure of metal packaging for logistics, and carried out research on its processing and related assembly technology improvement. Finally, it found a solution and innovatively developed the Adjustable Shelf. By adjusting the assembly form, this shelf can well pack various non-standard materials. It is flexible, expandable, transformable, and reusable, which can greatly improve the utilization rate of packaging.

The acquisition of this patent is a great affirmation of the modern logistics management major of the School of Finance and Logistics Management, which has been deeply engaged in industrial logistics for 20 years and strives to break the limitations in its own technical field. It also marks a breakthrough in translating intellectual property and scientific research achievements of the School of Finance and Logistics Management. In the future, the School of Finance and Logistics Management will continue to make innovations and breakthroughs and contribute to the high-quality development of the university.
