LVTC Holds Learning Summary Meeting of the Order Class of LiuGong–LVTC International Craftsman College of Thailand

From News Center (Text by Huang Jianxia, Office of International Exchange; Photo by Zuo Yingzi, Office of International Exchange) On September 22, LVTC held the Learning Summary Meeting of the Order Class of LiuGong–LVTC International Craftsman College of Thailand. Wei Lin, Vice President of LVTC, Zhang Ruitao, Post-marketing Director of the International Business Department of LiuGong, relevant heads of the Office of International Exchange and the School of Automotive Engineering, and course teachers attended the summary meeting. Twenty students from the order class of LiuGong-LVTC International Craftsman College of Indonesia who just arrived in Liuzhou were also invited to attend the summary meeting, where they had a firsthand experience of the Thai students' learning achievements and gained confidence in their own studies.

During the summary meeting, Wei Lin highly praised the Thai order class students' achievements in the four-month professional course study at the campus and congratulated them on successfully transitioning to internships. She expressed her hope that the students would be able to apply their knowledge effectively during the two months of practice in the enterprise. Zhang Ruitao also congratulated the Thai order class students on successfully completing their studies at LVTC and showed his welcome to the students for their internship at LiuGong.

The Thai students shared their reflections on their study and life at LVTC in Chinese. They appreciated the learning environment of the school and expressed their affirmation and gratitude for the dedicated teaching attitude of the teachers. Student Feilong expressed his great honor to study at LVTC. He mentioned that the Chinese food here is delicious, and both the teachers and schoolmates are very friendly. He hoped to turn the knowledge gained at LVTC into practical skills during his internship at LiuGong.

On September 21, the first batch of students from the order class of LiuGong–LVTC International Craftsman College of Thailand successfully completed their on-campus studies. All seven outstanding students passed the assessment. On September 22, LiuGong took the students to its headquarters, where they will begin their two-month internship. This year's order class adopts a modern apprenticeship training model combining Chinese language and engineering machinery. In the initial stage, LVTC provides online Chinese language training, while collaborating with external partner institutions to provide professional training. After the training, outstanding students are selected to study at LVTC and intern at LiuGong. Currently, there are a total of 27 students who have received scholarships from LiuGong and LVTC after completing offline training in their respective countries. Among them, there are 7 students from the Thai order class and 20 students from the Indonesian order class. School-enterprise cooperation in setting up order classes for foreign students is a new exploration made by LVTC and LiuGong after many years of order training for Chinese students. In the future, both parties will further summarize experience, adjust plans, and replicate the model of cooperation with Thailand and Indonesia in other core markets of LiuGong globally, so as to support the implementation of LiuGong's development strategy of "all-around internationalization".
