Consul General for Regional Cooperation in South China of the British Consulate in Guangzhou Visits LVTC

On the afternoon of November 27, 2023, Jane Fulbrook, Consul General for Regional Cooperation in South China of the British Consulate in Guangzhou, and her fellow went to Conference Room T1-D201 of LVTC Guantang Campus for exchange and discussion. Gao Pu, Member of the Leading Party Members' Group and Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Liuzhou Municipal People's Government, Fan Guijia, Deputy Head of Teaching Equipment Supply Station of Liuzhou Municipal Education Bureau and Deputy Director of Liuzhou Top-Notch Plan Construction Office, and Wei Lin, Vice President of LVTC attended the symposium.
Wei Lin firstly introduced LVTC's basic situation, cooperation and exchanges with the United Kingdom, and Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. Jane Fulbrook introduced her responsibilities and affairs, indicating the purpose of the visit. She hoped to promote China-UK cooperation and exchanges in technical and vocational education and training (TVET), industry-education integration and other related fields, and conduct more mutual communication and cooperation on this basis. The Parties have communicated on the needs of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, hoping to increase mutual understanding through different forms of activities.
Gao Pu introduced Liuzhou's measures to support the internationalization of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in recent years, such as organizing colleges and enterprises to exchange with embassies and consulates in ASEAN to deepen the understanding between Chinese and foreign universities, and hoped to visit British embassies and consulates in Guangzhou in the future to promote further exchanges and cooperation between China and Britain.
This exchange has deepened the friendship between LVTC and Consul General for Regional Cooperation in South China of the British Consulate in Guangzhou, and also laid a foundation for international exchanges and cooperation between the Parties. The Parties expressed that in the future, they will continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation, jointly promote the in-depth development of technical and vocational education and training (TVET), and make greater contributions to both countries' technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
