LVTC and LiuGong Jointly Launched the Construction of Indonesia's Second International Craftsman College

LiuGong Machinery Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as "LiuGong Indonesia") held its 2023 Customer Festival in Jakarta. On the Customer Festival, LiuGong Indonesia and LVTC once again joined hands with Sriwijaya State Polytechnic in the Republic of Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as "Indonesia") to hold a signing ceremony and launch the construction of the second LiuGong-LVTC International Craftsman College in Indonesia.

Djauhari Oratmangun, Ambassador of Indonesia to the People's Republic of China and Mongolia; Bapak Cahyo Purnomo, Director of Promotion in East Asia, South Asia, Middle East, and Africa of the Ministry of Investment of Indonesia; Ahmad Saufi, Director for Vocational and Higher Education Department of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Republic of Indonesia; Zeng Guang'an, Chairman of LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd.; Wu Jinchang, Deputy Director-General of the Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; Huang Mingyu, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of the Leading Group for Education of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Committee; Qin Zhuangcai, Director of the Vocational and Adult Education Division of the Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; Luo Yaoguang, Director of the Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Division of the Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; Wei Lin, Vice President of LVTC; and Ahmad Taqwa, Director of Sriwijaya State Polytechnic attended the Customer Festival and witnessed the signing.
On behalf of the Indonesian government, H.E. Djauhari Oratmangun congratulated LiuGong Indonesia on the successful organization of the Customer Festival. He pointed out that China-Indonesia cooperation mainly included three aspects: economy, tourism, as well as cultural and people-to-people exchanges. By supporting technical and vocational education and training (TVET), LiuGong would surely achieve rapid development in Indonesia. In his speech, Ambassador H.E. Djauhari Oratmangun made special reference to Liuzhou and its river snail rice noodles. He believed that "rice noodles", the favorite food of the people of Guangxi and Indonesia, could play an indispensable role in the cooperation between the two countries.
In his speech, Zeng Guang'an highly affirmed the development of Indonesia in the past decade. He mentioned that with the support of LiuGong's suppliers and distributors, LiuGong Indonesia could achieve remarkable results in 2023, with an estimated sales volume of 2500 units (sets) of equipment and rapid development. In the future, LiuGong will be committed to promoting green and intelligent construction machinery in Indonesia and creating a future of sustainable development with the Indonesian people.
In his speech, Wu Jinchang pointed out that while focusing on expanding the market, LiuGong did not forget to invest in education. It not only donated money for the construction of libraries but also cooperated with LVTC and many polytechnic schools in Indonesia to establish International Craftsman College by investing in equipment, which not only solved the demand for technical talents in its rapid development but also promoted the development of TVET in both countries, facilitated the employment of young people in both countries and showed a high sense of social responsibility. The cooperation among LiuGong, LVTC, and Sriwijaya State Polytechnic has been explored in the early stage of cooperation at PNJ. The three parties will further optimize the cooperation program, quickly form construction results, and build the program into a new model for the integrated development of industry and education in TVET in both countries.
Before the signing ceremony, LiuGong Indonesia played a video of cooperation with LVTC to run schools in Indonesia with local colleges and universities, reviewed the construction process and achievements of the first LiuGong-LVTC International Craftsman College at PNJ, and showed the plan to build three International Craftsman Colleges in Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi, Indonesia, in collaboration with LVTC in the next two years. After the video was played, LiuGong Indonesia, LVTC, and Sriwijaya State Polytechnic successfully signed a contract under the witness of participating leaders, distributors, and customers of LiuGong, officially launching the construction of the second LiuGong-LVTC International Craftsman College in Sumatra Island.
It is reported that LiuGong Indonesia was established in 2019. After just four years of development, it has become the subsidiary of LiuGong that ranks second in terms of overseas marketing revenue, with a marketing revenue of nearly RMB 1 billion in 2022. While developing rapidly, LiuGong Indonesia pays close attention to the improvement of service quality. Therefore, it is committed to investing in TVET to provide talent cultivation and training for the company, distributors, and customers, and continuously improve the comprehensive quality of technical service personnel. This time, in cooperation with LVTC and Sriwijaya State Polytechnic, the three parties have reached a consensus that the program will be aimed at applying for the Luban Workshop. According to the construction plan, LiuGong provides the equipment for this International Craftsman College while LVTC is responsible for training teachers and outstanding students from partner institutions and sharing vocational education standards. Partner institutions in Indonesia provide venues, local faculty resources, and general equipment to enroll students. The three parties customize the cultivation of talents for enterprises, provide training for distributors and technicians of LiuGong, and jointly organize skills competitions and academic education cooperation to provide talent support for the development of LiuGong and its end customers and distributors and improve the whole service system of LiuGong. After the signing of this contract, LiuGong will quickly provide the equipment and strive to complete the construction of the training center in the first quarter of 2024. In April 2024, LVTC will send teachers to form a team with trainers from LiuGong Indonesia to complete the training and certification of the teaching team of the Sriwijaya Program and initiate enrollment interviews in May 2024.
