Good News: LVTC's International Students Won the Excellence Award in the Second Knowledge Contest about Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for International Students

(Text by Huang Jianxia, Office of International Exchange; Photo by Huang Jianxia, Office of International Exchange) With the theme of "Beautiful Guangxi in the Eyes of International Students", the Second Knowledge Contest about Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for International Students was held at Liuzhou City Vocational College from December 13 to 15, 2023. Kezia Christine Angela, LVTC's international student from Indonesia, participated in the contest and competed fiercely in the individual competition of 52 international students, winning the excellence award.

The Knowledge Contest about Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for International Students is hosted by the Guangxi Association for International Education (hereinafter referred to as the Association). It aims to enable international students to learn various information about China such as its history, national conditions, regional conditions, and current affairs, boost their recognition of China and Guangxi, stimulate their affection for Chinese culture and Guangxi's customs, and cultivate more international students who know China well and befriend China.

Previously, international students from LVTC won the second prize and other honors in the 2nd Chinese Characters Dictation Competition for International Students in Universities in Guangxi. The excellent results obtained by LVTC's international students in competitions for international students in Guangxi can fully demonstrate LVTC's achievements in international student cultivation and provide a clearer direction for LVTC to better cultivate international students who know China well and befriend China in the future.
