To mark the start of the event, Liu Zilin, Secretary of the CPC LVTC Committee delivered a keynote speech titled Emancipating Our Minds, Innovating for Breakthroughs, and Striving to a New Stage of LVTC Quality Development. The keynote speech included a summary of LVTC's outstanding achievements in 2023. According to Liu's speech, LVTC highlighted the significance of themed study programs in 2023. The college made every effort to achieve high-level school operation, meet the criteria for implementing the National Top-Notch Vocational Institutions and Programs Plan (High-level vocational colleges and High-level majors), and improve its capability of serving society. LVTC made innovative progress in 2023. The college further emphasized its school running principle of integrating industry and education, improved the quality and efficiency of its scientific research, and significantly enhanced the international school running feature. Furthermore, Liu Zilin outlined the expectations and requirements for 2024 as follows. The college should be full of vigor in the new year and demonstrate strong motivation. It is crucial to remember their considerable contributions and pass down their dedicated spirit to future generations, allowing their influence to continuously shine bright. This medal is typically given to teachers who have provided over 35 years of service. In 2023, 14 teachers received this award. They are active contributors and witnesses to LVTC's history and have devoted their youthful years to the successful operation and advancement of the school.
