Opening Ceremony of the Second Batch Tailored Class of China-Indonesia Institute of Modern Craftsmanship of Intelligent Vehicle Held Successfully
(Text by Qin Xizhi, Photo by Huang Jianxia International Exchange Department (School of International Education)) To promote the construction of LVTC's China-Indonesia Institute of Modern Craftsmanship of Intelligent Vehicle, the opening ceremony of the second batch LiuGong-LVTC "Chinese Language + Skills" tailored class for Indonesian students was held online at 8:00 pm on April 29, 2024. The event was attended by more than 90 participants, including Dewi Liliana, Vice Director of Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ), Sairul Effendi, Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Department of Sriwijaya State Polytechnic (POLSRI), Pak Trisno Raharjo, Manager of PT. LiuGong Machinery Indonesia, and his team, Wei Linhua, Director of LVTC's International Exchange Department(IED), the Chinese language Team and staff of IED, and 75 tailored class students from the two Indonesian institutions. The ceremony was presided over by Wu Zhaohui, Deputy Director of International Exchange Department.
During the opening ceremony, Director Wei Linhua conveyed sincere greetings to the students. She indicated that through watching LVTC's promotional video and a video from Chrisjona, a student from the previous tailored class, students could understand the cooperation program of LVTC. She encouraged the students to study Chinese diligently, as being selected to study at LVTC next semester will greatly benefit their future employment. Wei also promised that LVTC will do its utmost to provide Indonesian students with quality educational resources and a sound learning environment, and that the doors of LVTC will always be open to outstanding students.
Pak Trisno Raharjo, Manager of PT. LiuGong Machinery Indonesia, spoke as a representative, expressing support for the current tailored class program. He emphasized that LiuGong has always been dedicated to promoting the construction of China-Indonesia institutes of modern craftsmanship and expected that the current program will cultivate more highly skilled and talented individuals who will make greater contributions to the socio-economic development of both countries. He also promised to strictly monitor the progress of the Indonesian students in learning Chinese, as this will be an important criterion for the company's later selection of outstanding students.
Dewi Liliana, Vice Director of PNJ, and Sairul Effendi, Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Department of POLSRI, also delivered heartfelt speeches at the ceremony. They expressed their full support for the current tailored class program and encouraged the students to learn Chinese hard to seize the opportunity to further their studies at LVTC in the future, which will broaden their horizons and enhance their skills.
The successful inauguration of the second batch tailored class of the China-Indonesia Institute of Modern Craftsmanship of Intelligent Vehicle once again demonstrates the high level of importance that LVTC and LiuGong attach to the program, facilitating its efficient implementation. In 2023, the program completed training for 80 Indonesian students of the first batch tailored class, with 20 of them set to intern and work at PT. LiuGong Machinery Indonesia. With the joint efforts of both sides, more outstanding talents will be cultivated by the tailored classes in the future, injecting new vitality and hope into the socio-economic development of China and Indonesia and opening a new chapter of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
