He said that LZPU, adhering to integrated development of education and industry, advocates international cooperative education, which is welcomed by overseas institutes. However, there are still problems in the cooperation, such as the enrollment scale of degree students needs to be expanded, and the quality of Chinese language teaching needs to be improved. Dang Shengtao expressed a strong desire to cooperate with LZPU in running schools in Indonesia. He believes it is feasible to copy the cooperation mode of enrollment, teaching and major setting currently used between HOPU and Chinese institutes to Indonesia. He hopes to take this opportunity to explore a new mode of diversified cooperation between universities and enterprises.
In view of the current problems existing in the cooperation programs, the three parties had an in-depth discussion and put forward suggestions for cooperation in setting up a management committee, strengthening curriculum system connection and mutual recognition of courses, introducing HOPU to assist in expanding enrollment, and improving the quality of Chinese language teaching.
This visit by Indonesian institutes not only clarified the direction of the new mode of cooperation between Chinese and Indonesian institutes but also provided a platform to discuss solutions and approaches to current problems. Leaders of both institutes have indicated that they will fully support and strengthen communication to jointly explore new paths and new modes for the development of vocational education and contribute to the cultivation of more outstanding professional talents.
Before the symposium, the delegations also visited LZPU's Engineering Practice Center, Smart Manufacturing Empowerment Center, LiuGong–LZPU Global Customer Experience Center, "Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence" Experience Hall, and other training bases.
