Symposium on Construction of China-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship Successfully Held at LZPU
From News Center (Text by Zhang Jinyezi from the International Exchange Department (School of International Education); Photo by Li Zhuo from the Publicity Department of the CPC LZPU Committee) To further implement the Implementation Plan for Promoting the Clustering and Integration of Industry and Education to Create an Open Cooperation and Innovation Highland for ASEAN-oriented Vocational Education jointly issued by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and advance the construction of China-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship, the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region organized a symposium on the construction of China-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship (Modern Craftsmanship Institute) at LZPU on June 24.
Yan Bingchen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Wei Yu, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Huang Zhenxi, Director of the International Administration Department, Luo Yaoguang, Director of the Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Division of the Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Gan Jinming, Deputy Secretary of the CPC LZPU Committee and President of LZPU, Ju Hongxia, Vice President of LZPU, and leaders from 17 China-ASEAN Institutes of Modern Craftsmanship, attended the symposium.
At the symposium, all units conducted in-depth exchanges regarding the problems in the approval for going abroad, project expenses and overseas equipment investment during the construction of the Modern Craftsmanship Institute. The Foreign Affairs Office and the Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region provided guidance and suggestions for institutes on these issues.
A total of 17 projects in Guangxi have been approved for the construction of the China-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship, with 8 institutes officially established overseas up to now. LZPU’s China-Indonesia Institute of Modern Craftsmanship of Intelligent Vehicle is the first one to be established overseas. The symposium provided a communication platform for all construction units and was of great significance in promoting the construction of the China-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship.
